This Scandi style, white ceramic oval wall sculpture is two toned in matte snow and icy white. The streamlined sculptural ceramic shape can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. The surface texture is a modern abstract pattern made with embossed geometric and organic shapes. 17.5 x 7.5 inches.
I designed and made this using a range of influences. The convex shape is based on a stylized Viking shield and flattened igloo cocoon form. The surface pattern is related to icicles and shapes found in snow. A sculpture which epitomises Danish hygge.
