TOROID
This abstract, round wall sculpture is a classic toroidal shaped artwork. The ceramic surface is an antique white crawl glaze with a verdigris green net pattern. I used a crab net layered into a mold then pressed the clay into it for a unique finish. The shape is reminiscent with the nautical feel of a boat fender, fish float or life buoy. 6 inches across.
