The warm blush tones are where the fire licked past her curves in the kiln. The earthy color palette fits perfectly with an ethnic tribal look. I hand painted 'Chinese style' dragon tattoos and clouds onto the body using an iron laden brush prior to firing. The full body to narrow neck ratio makes the flower vase suitable for ikebana.
