MILK AND HONEY
This sculptural artwork, Milk and Honey, refers to the droughts that affect Australia as well as the threat of 'colony collapse disorder' which can affect bees. Australia still exports bees to California so that almond groves, etc. can be pollinated. However, Australian bees are also suffering because of the ever present drought west of the ranges. Milk and honey also references the push by supermarket giants like Coles and Woolworths to discount milk prices with the danger that local dairy farmers will go out of business.
A unique sculpture with political commentary from the series Fantasia Australis. Will be a talking point with friends!
