REBA
Reba is a magenta pink haired female art doll. Channelling a bohemian lifestyle, she is a quirky and original design. Her beige linen look body has ornate dark red embroidery in a contemporary take on a sari pattern. Reba is a quirky and stylish artdoll ready for your boudoir and is truly OOAK. I make only one or two of these dolls each year. 12 inches high.
She has been hand embroidered in crimson red cotton on a beige linen look fabric. She has crushed velvet underwear and crocheted hem. Her hair is a wild curly magenta color. Her head and limbs are hand modelled ceramic and fired to 1100 degrees C. It took me around 80 hours to make her.
When I designed her embroidery pattern, I was thinking of the beautiful traditional dress worn by the women of the Indian sub-continent. Reba looks cute standing on books or she can hang on your wall to free up shelf space. She has a small loop on her upper back to allow hanging. She is 12 inches/ 30 cm tall and has an eye-catching presence.
