A piece of wall art that blends raw and refined, the clay base is a warm matte terracotta with a subtle paisley pattern in gloss glaze. She was fired in a kiln to 1100 degrees C. Paige has a low relief 3D form which lies flush against the wall. She has eye-catching emerald green eyes. 13 x 9 inches.
I designed and made this ceramic wall sculpture with a paisley patterned skin. When designing the stencil for the motif, I was thinking of the beautiful Indian flourishes embroidered on silk saris. The face has a tattoo quote 'live dangerously' in lower case embossed into the surface.
The simplicity and classic paisley pattern will add romance and drama to a neutral interior or bedroom. This beautiful and unique wall sculpture is perfect as a birthday or graduation gift for her.
