ICRUSTY AND CRAZED
Idesigned and made this two-toned wall hanging sculpture. Made from earthenware, this ceramic sculpture has a milky white top with glossy crazing and a bottom half with a chunky crawl glaze. The striking texture of this modern ceramic art will add depth to your gallery wall collection. 11" high.
The shape is a stylized version of a leaf profile cross-section and the distilled essence of a fundamental form. I love gardening and learning rainforest plant names using morphology keys. The antique white glazed area has very fine black lines through it from inking it as it cooled from the kiln. The lower effect is a crawling magnesium glaze.
